Andrew Hill, 137.16% ROI

Hi Goldrock Team,

After taking a few months break from trading, I decided to relook at my trading charts again. This month I have kept to my 1 hour Bonanza trades with a lot more consistent results 46 Trades (31 successful trades & 15 losses} with an amazing 137% ROI.

My advice is always stick to your Trading Plan & your rewards do happen.

Thanks to Laz, AB & all the Goldrock Team

Happy Trading,

Andrew Hill

Grant Geange, 3.71% ROI

Hi Guys

I have been trading with LTG for just over a year, I am still trying to find some consistency. I have tried a few different trading strategies but I am most comfortable trading the daily and SMACD bonanzas and the 50/200 all of which have to coincide with a wave cycle. I risk 1% per trade and try to ride wave five to the top of wave three, if momentum seems to be increasing I try and ride it for a bit more. I had a fair month with a ROI of 3.8%, looking forward to another profitable month in July.

Warm Regards

Grant Geange

Hi Goldrock Team

Please find attached my statement for entry into trader of the month.

Last few months have been a bit rocky and up and down so I deliberately set out to have less trades and pick the best. Everything was going great until the last couple of days when I let my patience and discipline slip and gave back over 5%.

So, the lesson learned is you don’t have to trade every day to have a great month and perhaps stopping before month end to freshen up and bank the profits of work done earlier in the month is a better idea. It certainly would have felt better.

I also have to stop looking for what is not there and just focus on what the charts actually show. If it’s not clear, then it’s a no go.

Regards

Bill Matheson

Hi Andrew,

Below is my bio for trader of month:

I started trading just before the GFC hit. Since that time I have had some good years but I have struggled for consistency. The last year, in particular, has been difficult. That’s why I joined LTG Goldrock. I have found the daily reports to be invaluable in helping me stay focused on the broader picture and stick to the plan. I didn’t have the best start to the year but I am starting to see some consistency now with another good month in June, with a return of a bit under 5%.

Regards,

Grant.

Sam Hegney, 18.86% ROI

Herewith my account traded only last 2 weeks of June, about 18% profit.

I now have shifted these funds to a GO account.

Bio:  Loser part time trader for 8 years until joining Goldrock in 2016. Will be full-time trader by December 2017.

Fleming Sorenson, 61.65% ROI

I would like to enter the competition for the Trader of the Month for June.

As per below I made a profit of $725 or 61.6% of my capital at the beginning of June.

I joined LTG Goldrock back in January 2017 and started following the FTSE room and trading the FTSE. It didn’t work with my work hours and I didn’t manage to create any discipline and routine, so I continued with my bad habits and within 4 months I had lost 40% of my capital.

I then participated in the FX Boot Camp in Sydney in May 2017, which provided me with better tools and motivated me to getting up in the morning reviewing the overnight FX news and thinking ahead on the trading strategy of the day. I also created good tracking of my trades and have managed to stick to the strategy on most trades and have had 3 trades with about 2:1 profit to loss ratio. I still have a lot more to learn including defining my 100% own strategy and trading plan, but I have come a long way in 2 months and I look forward to many more successful months to come with LTG Goldrock.

Best Regards

Flemming

Ash Pyle, 4.41% ROI

Hi guys,

First time sending in my statement for TOTM. Had a modest 4.4% ROI this month, which has been better than my last couple of losing months.

Still trying to find the trade that best suits me and learning all the time from Laz in the Training room.

Ash Pyle

Hi guys. Thanks for offering these monthly prizes as they encourage us to strive to do our best and stick to our trade plans.  Trading can be the most challenging, frustrating and rewarding thing you can do, and like most traders I experience the frustration of just missing an entry that goes on to be a winner, while catching the next trade that just clips my stop before going on to target.  But, I’m learning every month and slowly getting it together, knowing that losses are inevitable, but sticking to the tried and back tested plan will recover those losses and lead to decent gains.  Things I’ve learned recently include:

  • Stick to the plan
  • Don’t let a winning trade that just misses your target turn into a losing trade
  • Don’t be greedy – take the profit that you planned before it turns into a loss
  • If you move your stop, the market will seek it out anyway, so better to leave it where the plan said it should be and take a smaller loss
  • Stick to your plan
  • Back test your plan.  Prove it to yourself and don’t chase the latest untested idea hoping that it might work
  • If you make a mistake with your entry stake size, fix it before it turns into a bigger loss than you allowed for – don’t hope it turns into a bigger win.  Either way, you lose if you don’t fix it straight away
  • When you increase your stake size the market tends to smack you on the head (or is that just me)  Increase your stake size gradually – it’s less painful.
  • Even 80% winning trades can experience 3 or 4 losses in a row – stick to your plan

Now, if I only followed my own rules consistently, I would have done even better in June, but I’m still learning and can’t complain too much. May and June have been great months.

Regards,

Ian

Chris Keehn, 15.15% ROI

Hi Andrew,

Attached is my statement for the month of June.  Whilst I had a profitable month I feel I did not trade that well.  My execution could have been a lot better especially on exits.  Having the patience and will to leave the trade alone and let it run its course is proving to be a challenge for me.  With the support and guidance of LTG and Magnetic Trading I will continue to improve and hopefully will soon reach my goal of having a month of perfectly executed trades.

Cheers Chris

Phil Hatherell, 9.77% ROI

Hi Andrew and LTG team,

I had a poor start to the month but managed to overcome the losses by the end with my focus being on money management and being in tune with what is happening on the FX calendar.

The H4 charts are my preference but also pay attention to what is happening to the wave cycles on the D1 charts. My work load has increased over the past month

And have found it difficult to join the live seminars with Laz, Andrew and Alex. Having said that I still managed to have a profitable month of just over 9%.  The month ahead will be a challenge

To trade as I will be on 6 day 12hr shifts for the next 3 weeks.  What I do have is my psychology, trading schedule, my edge and my money management to help me

With the coming weeks of the trading challenge.

Looking forward to the next end of month results.

Regards

Phil.
