Narelle McIntyre achieved a fantastic 43%ROI last month and has won the ‘Best Risked’ Account for August’s Trader of the Month. You may remember Narelle from May’s Trader of the Month Leaderboard where she came 5th with 44.7% ROI.
“Previously I had been pretty inconsistent with my success until recently when my plan came together and I took my risk management more seriously. Consistency has become a major goal of mine and I am finally seeing the results. I usually risk about 1-2% of my account, but at times I have pushed the limits and upped it to 5% but never any more. I recommend risking a small percentage as it builds confidence and you won’t blow your account. It took me to get within a couple of trades of blowing my account before I realised I had to change. Andrew’s risk calculator is a gem and for me a saviour.
The last three months have been challenging. In June I had a baby and I tried to continue trading as I had been. My whole trading plan and my time management went out the window. Hi, my name is Angela Dart and I am married and have two gorgeous children.

Tim’s Background
With respect to my background, I am an electrical engineer and patent attorney in the U.S. I had very little trading experience and had no experience trading currencies, but I had always been very interested in trading currency.
My interest started because of the government’s irresponsibility in the way that it handled debt. Fundamentally, I never understood why the U.S. government consistently spent more than it collected in revenue. Families cannot get away with this. Why should governments? Further, to me, I thought that the issue of deficits were simply a symptom and the bigger issue was the national debt, which the government continued to ignore. » Continue Reading »

Marion won 3rd place last month with a fantastic Return of 21.8% on her Trading Account in July.
I started trading in Nov 2009 and have been taking my own trades in the last couple of months and sticking to my trading plan. I have had two successful months out of three.
I have taken advice from all the moderators and come up with a trade that suits me. I like trades that have a bit of momentum, as I prefer not to be in them for hours on end.
I would like to say that the moderators are all fantastic and I have learnt so much from all of them. My only regret is I don’t get to listen to Lorrie much as she comes on at the wrong time for me, but always thoroughly enjoy it when I do wake up in the middle of the night or early morning and tune in to her. She really is a fountain of knowledge.
I am really enjoying being a member of LTG GoldRock as it has so much to offer.

Daniel Fitzgerald made 7.74% ROI last month and will no doubt keep growing his Nett Profit.
Dr Daniel Fitzgerald is a 28 year old Aerospace Engineer, graduating from the Queensland University of Technology in 2002.
He followed for the next 3.5 year completing a PhD in the autonomous aerial vehicle area, with particular focus on artificial intelligence and automated algorithms. He has worked with the CSIRO and some other private companies in this area. He is currently in a project manager role in Brisbane with a research centre.

Karina Banhuk came 5th last month in our Trader of the Month competition with a total net Return On Investment of 30.08%.
I’m a single mum of three working only a few hours a week (paid work that is) and alot of my free time (when I get it) is spent backtesting trading plans.
The best advice I can give is to only trade plans you’ve backtested and proved to yourself that they work and to make sure you take every trade on that plan in order for the probabilities to play out. If you’ve tested them yourself and had a few stops it will give you the confidence to take that next trade.

Hi there, my name is Shawn. I am 43 years old and have been a machinist for the best part of my working life. Before hearing about LTG GoldRock, I didn’t even know what Forex Trading was. I did a few of the lessons and tried to get up to speed with the FX Market.
I traded a demo account for 2 months and June was my first live month of trading. I try and take all the LTG GoldRock trades and mainly do all my trading via mobile phone which usually makes it hard to monitor the market completely.
I am trying a few of my own strategies and am having fun doing so. The best advice I can give is to always use a stop loss. I definitely want to replace my income and believe this is the road for me.
